The
WedgWood Women's Club has been closely associated with almost every
aspect of life in Washington
Township. The Club prides itself on responding to the needs of the
community
and beyond. More than $100,000 has been donated in scholarships to
Washington Township High School seniors and has supported various high
school groups and events including the
Chamber Choir, athletic teams, and the R.O.T.C.

The WedgWood Women's Club also contributes to
Mothers
Matter, thanks to club member JoAnn McPoyle and Betty Bartkovsky.
Baskets are filled with
members' donations of health and beauty care items and given to women
shelters, children's pediatric hospital wards, day care centers, etc.
Chairwoman Miki Venuti organizes the
collection of items for the holiday
food baskets which are given to families in need of a little help.
In addition, members donate toys to the Toys
for Tots campaign.

In December, the Club
sponsors "Lunch with Santa" for the children and grandchildren of the
Club members. This event is run by club member, Rita Gigliotti.
